Foundations of Yoga - 5 week yoga course

NEW COURSE STARTING

£54 (EARLY BIRD before 13th April) or £60

Mondays 6:30 - 7:30 pm, (20th April - 18th May)

Shirehampton Public Hall

Ideal for complete beginners or those revisiting the basics, this course introduces key postures (asanas), breathing practices (pranayama), meditation, and relaxation techniques. As we build on the foundations we will introduce gentle flowing sequences to music, longer-held restorative poses, and time for stillness—to let the benefits of your practice settle in.

Rooted in the philosophy of yoga, these classes invite you to move with awareness, build strength, flexibility, and draw upon ancient breathwork and meditation techniques to find calm amidst the flow of everyday life. A gentle, supportive way to begin—or revisit - your yoga practice.

Layers are encouraged. Please bring your own mat.

Yin & Restore

A balm for the nervous system, Yin & Restore invites us to slow down, unravel, and rest in stillness. Exploring a mixture floor-based postures (typically held for 1–5 minutes) the Yin poses offer deep stretches whilst the restorative poses (supported by props) create a sensation of deep relaxation and release in the body.

Cosy layers are encouraged. Mats, bolsters and props are provided, though you’re very welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Suitable for beginners. Please book through the online form.
